Outback Art Gallery is an Aboriginal Art Gallery, located in an historical heritage listed 1852 stone cottage built by William McNulty for Customs Officer, Charles Simpson. The Gallery is situated at 64 Industrial Dr, Mayfield, a suburb of Newcastle less than 2 hours from Sydney, Australia.

Carolyn & Roy Ryan are the proprietors and have been operating since 1991 dealing with artists from the Central Desert and Arnhem Land regions of the Northern Territory. We have an extensive range of fine art from these cultural areas with most well known artists represented, among some 1000 pieces. Including Clifford Possum, Emily Kngwarreye, Eunice Napangarti, George Tjungarrayi, Dr George Tjapaltjari, Lindsay Bird, Gloria Petyarre and numerous others.

Outback Art have presented hundreds of Exhibitions of Fine Aboriginal Art in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney venues as well as in Sweden and Malaysia.

We believe in personal client rapport as the basis of our business . Although not lucrative, the relationships and personal experiences we have gained over the last 17 years with our artists and clients has been a lot of fun and very gratifying.
