Paddy of the Rembarrnga mob, was born around 1932 . In 1988 the Bicentennary Year he helped complete many of the 200 hollow log coffins to commemorate Aboriginal deaths since colonisation. He was also in the film "Too many Captain Cooks", to put forward an Aboriginal view of Australian history. Paddy's work depicts the spirit figures of his country on bark, canvas and wooden sculptures. He won many awards including:
