One of the best aspects of art dealing is meeting the artists and being with Colleen has always been very enjoyable. she is a well educated lovely young lady very proud of her children. She has been painting since 1990 and comes from a strong family tradition of Eastern Arrernte painters, including; Kathleen and Gabrielle Wallace.
Raised at Santa Teresa and Alice Springs though she now lives far from her mothers ancestral lands at Mulga Bore that is linked to her father's country near Gem Tree, north east of Alice Springs. Her Yam Dreaming links through to the country of Ada Bird Petyarre, a renowned artist from Mulga Bore, Utopia. Kenny Tilmouth Panangka (grandfather) has given her the rights to paint Yam Dreaming.
