Know as "hairbrush", George counts to 5 only to count to 10 counts to 5 one hand then counts to 5 other hand. George gave Roy the skin Tjupurulla at Kintore. Born in the bush in Pintupi country across the WA border c.1947. He began painting in West camp in Papunya about 1976 for Papunya Tula Artists, the same time as his older brother Willy Tjungarrayi,
His ancestral land covers the sites around WalaWala, Kiwirrkura, Lake Mackay, Kulkuta, Karku, Ngaluwinyamana and Kilpinya to the north-west of Kintore and he paints the Tingari stories for this region.
