Gabriella was born at Mt Allan in 1967 the older daughter of "the master", Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri and her paintings reflect his unique style. Her artistic skill was first recognized 1983 when she gained an award in the prestigious Alice Springs Art Prize. Gabriella uses (acrylic paints on canvas ) to create traditional designs. Her colors are inspired by her ancestral landscape. Shw paints; Gradmother's Country, Seven Sisters and other Women's ceremonies.

This Beautiful Painting Depicted is the artist's ancestral Grandmother's Country, that is near Napperby and Mount Allen Station it includes Ngarlu, Red Hill. This sacred area was created during the Dreamtime and its custodianship has been past down together with the matriach’s "secular sacred knowledge". This is Gabriellas famous Seven Sisters Dreaming. An old man wanted to have his "evil way" with two beautiful sisters but they rebuked his advances and fled. He chased them and the girls other five sisters joined the pursued to protect them. Ultimately the old man isolated them on a cliff edge where they jumped into the heavans. But the old man seen them and also jumped. Today the seven sisters are Pliedes and the old man still chasing them is the bright star in Orions belt.
