Dorothy Napangardi
Dorothy was born around 1950 about 400klms west of Alice Springs she describes her early childhood as a very happy one. She remembers collecting bush foods and being taught bush cooking by her mother :
'On my country there was a lot of wanakiji, marnikiji, wanarri, jarlparrpa, marrkirdi or mukaki, mangarri kumunjayi - yarla, marlu, warna, jarrampayi, wardapi, lungkarda, warrarna, watakiyi and ngurlu.
